Aluminum alloy cables build upon traditional electrical-grade aluminum by ingeniously incorporating alloying elements and utilizing advanced manufacturing processes, resulting in significantly enhanced mechanical properties for the conductors. This effectively resolves issues inherent to pure aluminum conductors, such as low elongation, poor creep resistance, and limited flexibility. At the same time, these cables maintain electrical performance comparable to that of electrical-grade aluminum conductors; specifically, the DC resistance of the conductors strictly adheres to the standards for solid or stranded conductors outlined in GB/T 3956-2008, "Conductors of cables."

 

Aluminum alloy power cables offer significant performance improvements over traditional pure aluminum cables. While their electrical conductivity remains comparable, there are substantial gains in flexibility (bending performance), creep resistance, and corrosion resistance. These enhancements ensure stable, continuous performance even under conditions of prolonged overload and overheating. Furthermore, the use of AA-8000 series aluminum alloy conductors further boosts conductivity and high-temperature resistance while mitigating issues such as electrochemical corrosion and creep that can affect pure aluminum conductors.
