Product Overview

The RVV series is our workhorse flexible cable for light-duty power and control circuits: Class 5 stranded bare copper conductors, colour-coded PVC core insulation and a tough PVC outer sheath, rated 300 / 500 V. Produced to GB / T 5023.5 and JB / T 8734.3, this Multi Core RVV Power Cable combines easy stripping, clean flexing and reliable termination in one construction.

From appliance hook-up leads and security systems to smart-home and lighting circuits, installers value it as a dependable PVC Sheath Cable that stays flexible at low temperature and resists moisture, oil and abrasion in daily service. Available from 2 to 24 cores, it also works as a tidy Multi Conductor Wire that bundles power, control and signal lines in a single round, easy-route profile.

Engineering & Quality Assurance

Copper is procured as 99.99 % purity rod and verified against IEC 60228 conductor resistance before stranding; extrusion lines hold concentricity within spec so stripping never nicks a conductor. Each drum of Multi Core RVV Power Cable passes 100 % spark, high-voltage and conductor-resistance testing in our ISO 9001-certified plant, and ships with traceable batch records and a factory test report. Export orders additionally carry CE, RoHS and REACH documentation, with SGS or TÜV third-party inspection available for project tenders.

Our engineering team backs every quotation with practical selection advice: upsize one step for long runs to control voltage drop, allow margin for motor inrush and heating loads, and match the sheath colour to your market's wiring convention. That is the difference between buying a commodity cable and certifying a component into your product.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between RVV and RVVP?

RVV is the unshielded flexible power and control cable described here; RVVP adds a tinned copper braid shield for environments with electromagnetic interference, such as near variable-frequency drives or radio equipment. For general appliance, security and lighting circuits, RVV is the cost-effective choice.

Can RVV be installed outdoors or buried directly?

Standard RVV is designed for indoor use. For permanent outdoor runs exposed to sunlight we recommend our UV-stabilised black PVC Sheath Cable variant, and for direct burial or continuous movement a rubber-sheathed cable instead - matching the cable to the installation is part of our honest engineering advice.

Which certifications ship with each order?

Production is CCC-certified for the domestic market, and export shipments include a CE Declaration of Conformity, RoHS and REACH statements and factory routine-test reports. Third-party inspection can be arranged on request.
