Product Overview
H05VV-F and H07VV-F are the European benchmark for harmonised flexible cables: Class 5 finely stranded copper conductors, PVC core insulation and a smooth PVC outer sheath, produced to EN 50525-2-11 / VDE 0285-525-2-11. H05VV-F is rated 300 / 500 V for appliance and light-duty circuits; H07VV-F steps up to 450 / 750 V for heavier loads and longer runs. Together they form a complete Flexible Power Cord family trusted by appliance makers, retailers and installers across Europe and beyond.
Because every conductor is finely stranded, the cable behaves as a true Soft Core Electrical Cable - it routes easily around corners, terminates quickly and resists fatigue from repeated bending. In residential and light-commercial projects it also serves as a compliant Low Voltage Household Wire for socket, lighting and small-appliance circuits where harmonised PVC flexibility is specified.

- Light machinery and tools subject to moderate vibration
- Retail-ready coils (5 m / 10 m) and cut lengths for hardware channels
Engineering & Quality Assurance
Copper is procured as 99.99 % purity rod and re-verified against IEC 60228 conductor resistance before stranding; extrusion lines hold concentricity within spec so stripping never nicks a conductor. Every batch of Soft Core Electrical Cable passes 100 % spark, high-voltage and conductor-resistance testing in our ISO 9001-certified plant, and ships with traceable batch records, a factory test report and full CE, RoHS and REACH documentation. SGS or TÜV third-party inspection can be arranged for tenders.
Our engineers back every quotation with honest selection advice: choose H07VV-F when runs are long or loads heavy, add one cross-section step for continuous heating loads, and match sheath colour to your market's wiring convention. That is the difference between buying a commodity cable and certifying a component into your product.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between H05VV-F and H07VV-F?
Both share the same Class 5 flexible construction; the difference is rating. H05VV-F (300 / 500 V) targets appliance cords and light circuits, while H07VV-F (450 / 750 V) covers heavier loads, longer runs and light industrial duty with larger available cross-sections.
Can these types be used outdoors or for permanent in-wall wiring?
They are designed primarily for indoor use. Temporary outdoor duty is acceptable in the UV-stabilised black sheath variant, but for permanent exposure or direct burial we honestly recommend H07RN-F rubber cable, and for concealed fixed circuits dedicated building wire - keeping the flexible types as your Low Voltage Household Wire for appliances, luminaires and accessible junctions.
Which certifications ship with each order?
A CE Declaration of Conformity, RoHS and REACH statements and factory routine-test reports, all issued against the harmonised EN 50525-2-11 construction. Third-party inspection by SGS or TÜV can be arranged on request.
