Description

Product Overview

The RVV series is the reference choice for residential and light-commercial installation wiring: flexible Class 5 stranded copper conductors, colour-coded PVC core insulation and a robust PVC outer sheath, produced to GB / T 5023.5 and JB / T 8734.3. As an RVV flexible cable, it threads easily through conduit and trunking, terminates quickly and holds its dressed position after bending - exactly what electricians ask for in home-improvement and equipment-feed circuits.

Every strand begins as 99.99 % purity copper rod, so each Copper Conductor wire delivers the low resistance and high current-carrying capacity your circuits are designed around. The jacket is engineered for daily household exposure - moisture, abrasion, mild oil, and UV in the black variant - making this the PVC sheath RVV cable installers re-order by drum number.

Engineering & Quality Assurance

Incoming copper is re-verified against IEC 60228 conductor resistance before stranding, and annealing is controlled so every Copper Conductor wire keeps Class 5 softness drum after drum. Extrusion lines hold concentricity within spec, giving the PVC sheath RVV cable a round, even profile that strips cleanly and seals out damp. Each batch passes 100 % spark, high-voltage and conductor-resistance testing in our ISO 9001-certified plant and ships with traceable batch records, a factory test report and CCC / CE / RoHS / REACH documentation; SGS or TÜV third-party inspection is available for tenders.

Our engineering team backs every quotation with practical selection advice: upsize one cross-section for long runs to control voltage drop, allow margin for water-heater and motor inrush loads, and match sheath colour to your market's wiring convention. That is the difference between buying a commodity cable and certifying a component into your project.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does RVV differ from BV or BVR building wire?

BV is a single-core solid conductor for concealed fixed wiring; BVR is flexible but usually single-core. RVV puts multiple colour-coded cores under one sheath, so one RVV flexible cable replaces several singles in surface runs, appliance feeds and control loops - faster to route and neater to terminate.

Can it be used outdoors?

Standard white and grey types are for indoor use. For permanent sun-exposed runs we supply the UV-stabilised black PVC sheath RVV cable variant; for direct burial or continuous movement we honestly recommend rubber-sheathed cable instead - matching the cable to the installation is part of our engineering advice.

Which certifications ship with each order?

CCC for the domestic market, plus a CE Declaration of Conformity, RoHS and REACH statements and factory routine-test reports. Third-party inspection can be arranged on request.
